FIRST encourages all teams to engage in an active community outreach program. Triple Helix takes this challenge very seriously, and started a comprehensive outreach effort as soon as we were formed. This commitment to our community continues to grow, as evidenced by charity fundraising efforts, our development of robotics summer camp program for middle-school-aged students, and our sponsorship of a FIRST LEGO League team at B.C. Charles Elementary School in Newport News. Go Mighty Mustangs!!!
Should you need assistance with your community event, or would like us to demonstrate one of our robots at your event, please feel free to contact our head coach at matt.wilbur@menchvillerobotics.org.
